I'm Kira! It's wonderful to meet you. I am co-owner of Saffron Club and General Manager/Headmistress of Catsune Cabaret.I've been working the venue scene for nearly a year now (essentially the full length of my time in Eorzia)!I have worked many roles during my time here but found management is my passion, helping build up my courts and companions. I do also love getting down and dirty at times, being hired as a court or even for content!In terms of personality, I am a true switch. History

Kira is a Miqo’te Keeper of the Moon. Unlike most, she didn’t grow up in Eorzea. She refuses to tell anyone her true origins though, instead claiming the only home she had ever known was here.
Kira was only thirteen years old when the young Miqo’te was found having stowed away in a ship bound to Limsa Lominsa from the port of Kugane. She had been well hidden but some kids who had taken to exploring every nook and cranny of the large vessel got lucky several days into the trip. She’d made some space in a hidden compartment her home, where she’d obviously been living for several weeks at least. She was badly malnourished and showed signs of abuse, though she refused to speak of it. The only belongings with her were a single change of clothes and a tiny summoned blue carbuncle. When they eventually asked what she was doing stowed away on the ship, she smiled up at them and told them that she was going to the Arcanists guild in Limsa to become the most powerful summoner this world had ever seen.True to her word, no sooner had the gangplank been lowered did the little girl run across it, carbuncle in tow as she darted around the larger adults, making a beeline directly for the Arcanists guild with barely a wave goodbye. Seeing someone as young as her, without formal training, already having a carbuncle of her own pushed the guild master into accepting Kira’s request to join the guild. When the clerks asked for her name, she told them firmly “just Kira”. They tried pressing for a last name many times over the next few days, but she would just shake her head and state “Kira.” Eventually a clerk caught up to her and pressed her while she was reading a tomb about high level summons. Realising they weren’t going to stop, the young girl had pointed at the cover, where a phoenix sat emblazoned on it. Her mentor saw what she was pointing at from his seat beside her and nodded, giving both her and the clerk a smile. “The Phoenix. A creature known for new beginnings from the ashes of the past. Fitting, given what little I know of Kira here.” The name stuck and she became known as Kira Phoenix from then on.Kira lived in the guild, learning and studying for several years. She showed time and again her drive to be the best, never even once faltering in her studies. She was called a lot of things in her time there, especially by the other kids. The word most often thrown around however, usually by her peers, was “prodigy”. It didn’t take long until she mastered the easy summons and spells, and started pushing to learn the harder summons. The mentors there began to refuse, not out of fear that she couldn’t control them, but because they themselves couldn’t.It was at that time that she decided she had learned all she could within the confines of the guild. With that in mind, she bid her mentors and friends farewell and started her new life as an adventurer, much to the dismay of her tutors who thought it much too dangerous of a profession for one as young as her, even as skilled as she was.For the next few years she constantly was on the move, never putting down roots, always looking for the next job. No task was too big or small for the summoner, who was seen doing everything from helping carry groceries for an elder, to taming a dragon, to fighting primals. She loved the thrill of learning more challenging spells, new fighting styles, and taking on harder jobs.The young adventurer took a special interest in anything of Allagan design, always volunteering to spearhead any expeditions into ruins and the like, having a fascination with the technology that existed during the height of the Allagan Empire. During her explorations she amassed quite a collection of relics, most of which she kept in a safe in New Gridania. Throughout her adventures she was always described the same way, a beautiful young Miqo’te with purple hair and an ever-loyal carbuncle at her side.After several long years of adventuring the loneliness started to get to her. Sure she had made friends among other adventurers, but never once had she stayed anywhere long enough to put down roots. Several adventurers had offered her a place with them, but it never felt like home, so she never stayed for long before leaving in the dead of night to go onto the next job.Eventually though, adventuring lost the thrill. Never having a home, never having people she could depend on, always on the move from one job to the next, it started to get too much for her. It was then that she met several members of what would become the Phoenix Ascending Free Company. They helped convince her to put down roots in New Gridania, going so far as to help her get and personalize an apartment there. Alongside her new friends she became a founding member of the free company and started spending as much time with them as possible, doing jobs and exploring with them during the days. That is until late one Thursday night her friends dragged her out to a club and opened her eyes to a world she never knew existed.The music, the dancing, the vibe of the crowd. It was completely new to her and completely… intoxicating. For the first time in a while she felt the thrill of adventure in a whole new way. That night she ended up picking someone up from the club and having an amazing night with them.Something changed in her that night, a desire that she’d repressed until now. The need for connection of the best kind. Whether that was dancing on the floor, or “dancing” in the bedroom. It didn’t take long until she sought to find out if they were hiring. One thing led to another, and after the most interesting job interview of her life she landed the job and started her new life as a courtesan.Now she can be found at KoVe during her shifts, at random clubs throughout Eorzea when not at work, or out in the wilds adventuring with her free company and with her ever-loyal carbuncle at her side.
